Where we started
Goldfingers started out as an idea and a philosophy of its founder, Bill Dorminy. Bill worked for Chick-Fil-A for 12 years, doing everything from running multiple locations, to marketing consulting in Atlanta at the Chick-Fil-A headquarters. Bill and his family moved to Dothan in 1998 where he took a position on staff at a new local church called Harvest. As the church grew, Bill felt a call from the Lord to return to ministry in the restaurant business.
In 2008, Bill took over a restaurant on Montgomery Highway in Dothan, Alabama. He took the bones of the store and converted it into a new concept. In January of 2009 the first Goldfingers was opened in what was formerly a “Willy T’s”. It was an instant success and since its first year in operation, they have been voted “THE BEST CHICKEN TENDERS” in Dothan several times. It has now grown to 6 stores across Alabama (at the time of writing, 2025), with more on the way! The leadership of Goldfingers still stays within the Dorminy family, as Michael Dorminy (Bill’s son) is now the CEO.

Goldfingers was founded on biblical principles and that will not change. From the focus on the freshness of our food, to the cleanliness of the store, to the smile that greets you at the counter. We want to represent Christ well, because every life matters.
Good Friends.
Statistically speaking, most people will spend more time with coworkers than anybody else in their life. You will never be able to control how friendly anybody else is, but you can be the friend to others. We want to run a business full of employees that are friends and enjoy each others company.
Great Food.

We want everything that we produce to be excellent and honoring to God. For us, that includes great food!
